Position: STORE MANAGER
Reports to: VP of Retail Operations
Status: Salaried, Exempt

General Definition of Work:
The main objective is to drive sales growth and profitability by overseeing all store operations. You'll work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve these goals, making sure that every aspect of the store runs smoothly. Responsibilities include supervising and motivating the store associates, managing inventory to prevent shrinkage, and developing effective business strategies to boost sales in a competitive marketplace.

• As the Store Manager, your role is to lead and guide a team of employees towards success, both individually and collectively. Your responsibilities extend beyond managing the store; you also have the task of motivating your team and facilitating their professional growth.
• Motivate staff through praise and expressing gratitude. Create a positive team environment.
• The Store Manager is a leader of a team of employees. You are responsible for the success of the team and the store. Use practical leadership skills to motivate the team and help them grow professionally. Motivate the staff through Praise and Thank You(s). Create a happy and positive team environment.
• Resolve customer complaints and customer service issues as quickly as possible.
• The Manager is responsible for recruiting and hiring staff through effective interviewing and candidate screening.
• Meet with the Sales Manager to discuss sales figures and strategy for success and current events, share information, and discuss the store meeting agenda.
• The Manager, in conjunction with the Sales Manager, works together, staying on the sales floor, getting involved with sales, and assisting where needed. This includes being available for “Turnovers” or bringing in other sales associates to take “Turnovers.”
• The Store Manager should utilize excellent negotiating skills to maximize sales and profits.
• Have a complete understanding of financing costs versus discounting to maximize profits.
• Responsible for sales and POS training. This includes vendor product knowledge and company policies and procedures.
• Be professional in all of your dealings with co-workers and clients.
• Set in-store policies as needed.
